Accreditation means holding an Identity Card issued after approval by
the British Canoe Union and the European Canoe Association (ECA).
Accreditation allows the holder access to areas reserved for on-site media.
European Canoe Slalom Championships – Host Broadcaster
The British Canoe Union is pleased to announce the appointment of BBC Sport as the host broadcaster for the 2009 European Canoe Slalom Championships.
The BBC will broadcast live coverage of theses Championships on:
Saturday 30th May 2009 – BBC 1 – 13:00 to 14:30
Sunday 31st May 2009 – BBC 2 – 14:00 to 15:30
Additional coverage of the Championship programme may also be broadcast via the BBC Interactive services.
The BCU is currently finalising the Competition programme and race schedule with the BBC and European Canoe Association and will publish these details once agreed

Senior European Canoe Slalom Championships
The first major international canoe slalom competition since the Beijing Olympics takes place in Nottingham at the end of May 2009. With the best canoeists in the world competing for medals, the Slalom European Championships will thrill and captivate. In canoe slalom, Europe is the strongest continent in the World and the most successful Olympians will be in Nottingham to start their journey on the road to London 2012. More>
