17 Dec 08 - Watch Nottingham’s Olympians start their journey to London 2012 -
Senior European Canoe Slalom Championships
The first major international canoe slalom competition since the Beijing Olympics takes place in Nottingham at the end of May 2009. With the best canoeists in the world competing for medals, the Slalom European Championships will thrill and captivate. In canoe slalom, Europe is the strongest continent in the World and the most successful Olympians will be in Nottingham to start their journey on the road to London 2012. More>

Canoe England in partnership with the East Midland’s Sports Development Officers is currently planning a programme of activities to develop the sport of Canoe Slalom and other aspects of sport in conjunction with the 2009 European Canoe Slalom Championships. More>

Like all major sporting events, the 2009 European Canoe Slalom Championships will be staffed mainly by volunteers. Volunteers involved in the championships will consist of those directly involved within the sport of Canoe Slalom and those with an interest in supporting Canoeing, Events or the Community. More>

2 Dec 08 - Canoe 2012
Canoe 2012 is a Canoe England initiative designed to develop and widen the pathway into the Olympic disciplines of Paddlesport. Canoe 2012 is an initiative that will be reaching out to club/centres and paddlers from across the community. The initiative will focus on women & girls, canoe classes, crew boats and paddlers with a disability. More>

2 Dec 08 - Go Paddling Programme and National Go Paddling Week
The aim of the programme is ‘to help and inspire people to go paddling’ and this will be achieved by your Club/Centre providing a positive and welcoming paddling experience within a managed environment. Each club/centre will be encouraged to provide both a taster event at a time which suits your club/centre. All Canoe England are asking, is for your club/centre to run a follow up a session as soon as possible after the Go paddling day. More>
