7 Mar 09 - European Canoe Slalom Championships – Competing Team
For the 2009 European Canoe Slalom Championships we are anticipating that over 600 athletes and team support personnel from 30 or more countries across Europe will be competing at these prestigious Championships.  Europe hosts the strongest Canoe Slalom teams throughout the world and we anticipate that a number of the Beijing Olympic medallists will also be competing at the National Water Sports Centre, Nottinghamshire, for top European honours.  More>

The Works will complete the concrete pouring around 6th March, with time to clear out of the river and finish off, commissioning should commence on 13th March with the course re-opening provisionally on the 21st March.
