Junior Talent Development Coach – Canoe Slalom (Lee Valley)

This is an exciting new full-time post to recruit talented young athletes in and
around the Lee Valley / Cheshunt area with the characteristics that potentially
identify them as suitable for Canoe Slalom. This will involve the implementation
and delivery of a talent search and development initiative within the Lee Valley
area. The post will operate specifically around the Lee Valley whitewater centre
(once completed) and other local facilities.

Salary: Highly competitive salary negotiable dependent upon experience and
qualifications.

Participation Coach

Southampton Canoe Club (6 hours per week)
Starting salary £4,000 per annum

• Commitment to developing young people, adults, and paddlers with a disability towards participation in Competitive Paddlesport
• Experience of coaching  in a volunteer setting, including session planning, and long term paddler relationships
• Can demonstrate a passion and practical enthusiasm for both competitive and recreational aspects of Paddlesport
• The ability to be a team player but also to work on your own initiative and under pressure 
• Hold a valid Driving Licence & able to use your own car to support the post
• Able to access remote locations
• Willing, enthusiastic flexible and energetic!
