JCA Senior Water Sports Instructor - 2012

JCA & Adventure Quest one of the leading providers of schools and groups Activity holidays are now recruiting Senior Water Sports Instructors for our 2012 season.
Working at our centres across the UK, you will be leading a team of multi trained Activity and Water Sport Instructors and overseeing our water sport session delivery. You will also be providing excellent customer service to our guests throughout their stay.

There is also the opportunity for to gain an apprenticeship in Customer Service and NGB qualifications such as GNAS and First Aid at work.

Applicants must be 21+, have a full UK drivers licence, UKCC Level 2 and FRST (Foundation Safety Rescue Technician).  Enhanced CRB required, expense will be met by employer.

JCA Water Sports/ Multi Activity Instructor – 2012

JCA & Adventure Quest one of the leading providers of schools and groups Activity holidays, are now recruiting Water Sport/ Multi Activity Instructors for our 2012 season.
As a Water Sports/ Multi Activity Instructor you will be responsible for running our Water Sport sessions such as Open Canoeing and sit on top Kayaking. You will also be given the opportunity to lead over 40 land based activities for which you will receive full training.

You will have the opportunity to work towards gaining an Apprenticeship in Activity Leadership. You will also be offered the chance to achieve your BFA Fencing coach qualification and Emergency First Aid at work. The position is live in with food and accommodation provided subject to deductions from your salary.

Applicants must have a UKCC Level 1 qualification as minimum and an FRST (Foundation Safety Rescue Technician).

About the Role
As a qualified BCU Kayak or Canoe coach you will work within a close team to deliver an activity programme to adults and children both on and off the water. Often a physically demanding role which involves carrying and lifting you will rotate responsibilities of instructing, safety cover, working the beach, and facilitating children’s clubs throughout the day. When the weather is bad and people are not able to go out on the water you will need to help create alternative activities and entertainment to amuse the guests.

You must hold a valid first aid certificate, have an approachable and friendly attitude, ability to work on your own, be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in any other areas. You must hold a BCU/UKCC Level 2 coach qualification or equivalent. Candidates must be capable of delivering a coaching programme, which guides our guests through their BCU One and Two Star awards. We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals with the relevant qualifications.
